The 13 track album is Sterling EQ’s third studio album and promises to be another runaway success for this SAMA-winning group that has proven to possess staying power in the industry, with each album release earning rave reviews from industry pundits. Filmed in front of a capacity (1200 strong) audience at Cape Town’s Artscape Opera House, Sterling EQ – Live in Concert offers the viewer a spectacular 90 minute-long celebration of musical splendor and virtuosity. It is made up of songs from Sterling EQ’s debut album, including hits like Nkalakatha and Nova, and originals like Electric Storm and Bach’s Kittens at Play. Other highlights include legendary instrumentals for a colourful trip down memory lane, like the theme from Caravans and Chic Corea’s Spain, as well as a knock out instrumental version of the iconic Italian song Caruso; exciting contemporary versions of well-known Classics like Toccata & Fugue, and Storm (Four Seasons / Carmina Burana medley); and a few very fresh surprises! Emo Adams also makes a brief appearance on this groundbreaking DVD, of which the second print run is already underway.
